The short version

Truce Privacy ("we," "us") helps people protect their privacy, so we hold ourselves to the same standard. This website collects nothing about you: no analytics, no cookies, no trackers, no third-party fonts, and no forms. We only receive personal information if you choose to contact us or book a consultation, and we never sell it.

This website

The site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and embeds no third-party scripts or fonts, so there's no cookie banner because there are no cookies to consent to. Our host, Cloudflare, processes limited technical data (such as IP addresses and request logs) to deliver the site securely and prevent abuse.

Information we collect when you engage

We only receive what you choose to share:

• Booking a consultation through meetergo: your name, email, and scheduling details, and, if you pay for a session, payment information handled by Stripe (we never see or store full card numbers).
• Contacting us by email (Tuta), Threema, or Instagram: whatever you include in your message.
• During a consultation: information you share so we can help, which may be sensitive. We treat it as confidential.

How we use your information

To respond to your inquiry, schedule and deliver consultations, process payment for sessions, keep basic records, and meet legal obligations (such as tax and accounting). We do not use it for advertising or profiling, and we do not sell or rent it.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. We rely on a small set of privacy-respecting providers to operate, each under their own privacy terms:

• Cloudflare : Website hosting & security
• meetergo : Appointment scheduling (EU / Germany)
• Stripe : Payment processing (paid sessions)
• Tuta : Our email (Germany)
• Threema : Encrypted messaging (Switzerland)
• Instagram (Meta) : Only if you message us there

We may also disclose information if required by law.

Where your data is processed

Most of our stack is based in the EU and Switzerland (meetergo, Tuta, Threema), with hosting on Cloudflare's global network. If you contact us from outside those regions, your information may be processed in the United States or elsewhere by the providers listed above.

How long we keep it

We keep messages and client records only as long as needed to respond and to provide and document the services you engage, plus any period the law requires (for example, payment records for tax purposes). You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to or restrict how we use it; some regions also grant data portability.

• California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you can request access, deletion, and correction, and opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We don't sell or share it.
• EU / UK (GDPR): you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Security

Connections to this site use HTTPS, and we communicate over encrypted email and messaging. We choose providers with strong privacy track records and limit who can access your information.

Children

Our services are for adults and are not directed to anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version; material changes will be posted on this page.
